Why Google bought motorolla

Hey everybody,
                         Now, this is exciting as The Web Giant Google  has bought the MOTOROLLA company.The reasons for this purchase are:





  1. Google's planned purchase of Motorola's mobile phone division bolsters its position in two key ways.
  2. Owning a handset manufacturer opens the way for Google to follow Apple's profitable lead in controlling the software, hardware and content on its devices.
  3. The current case of Apple injuncting sales of the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab in Europe illustrates the potential consequences of the third option.
  4. - Fflick: Movie recommendation tool based on tweets, now part of YouTube
  5. Pushlife: Mobile music streaming specialists, working to push music to Android platform.
  6.  Admeld: Advertising optimisation firm enlisted to help publishers create "flexible advertising solutions".
  7. - Fridge: First acquisition linked to Google+, Fridge specialise in group communications.
  8. - Dealmap: Location-tailored coupon service akin to massively successful Groupon.
  9. - Motorola Mobility: Mobile arm of communications giant Motorola.
                                                                 This deal ended up at sum of $12.5bn (£7.7bn) and Google has paid a princely sum for Motorolla Mobility. Well, lets see what it is going to do with this deal. Lets hope Google's this deal is successful.
